What’s your goal this year?

Starting and running a business take a lot of work! There are a lot of nay-sayers out there: family might tell you that you should keep steady at the rat race because it’s secure income. Friends tell you that your ideas don’t sound viable. Maybe your spouse is frustrated that you have taken so much time to start and have your business and it isn’t producing results.

You are not alone. I felt that way once. I felt like everything I was doing was lacking value. I felt like no one was giving me any useful input. I felt like no one would help me make successful decisions because they just weren’t interested. And then I got extremely frustrated…which is probably how you feel right now.

So what’s the secret to getting more customers? There’s a lot more that goes into your business than just a website, a few emails, and a great looking logo.

What does everyone else have
that you don’t?

I spent 6 years asking myself that same question. I spent the next 6 months questioning whether or not I could break into the saturated market. I spent a lifetime telling myself that there are more qualified and more knowledgeable folks out there who can do what I do.

And then I gave a workshop on branding. It hit me: yes, there are other people and businesses out there that do exactly what I do, but I realized that it’s not getting ‘EVERY CLIENT’ that I can get, it’s about getting the ‘RIGHT CLIENTS’ to partner with. I have a message to share, and my style fits in with their needs…and I needed to be finding clients that just ‘click’ with me and my style.

After being a ‘business wanderer’ for almost ten years, I was ready to throw in the towel. I was in the midst of giving up on my dream of owning my own business. I had several small businesses that barely covered paying the bills. My family was getting tired of having to text me to find out my forwarding address. My friends were shaking their head because I would start a hundred projects and never finish them. My passion and desire for owning my own business was getting in the way of paying off the bills or buying a house.

Why do I tell you all this?

Because I know what it feels like. I understand that you are about ready to give on success, building a business, and giving up on something you love. I WAS DONE WAITING, and you probably are too! I’m here to help you do WHATEVER YOU NEED TO DO to start making a bigger impact, cultivate a better business, and build a better YOU.
